Was darfst Du erwarten?
- Ein Wahnsinns-Wochenende von dem Du noch lange reden wirst (oder notfalls einen einzelnen Tag)
- Spaß Spaß Spaß! Es dreht sich alles rund ums Crack Climbing aka Rissklettern in allen möglichen Formen und Dimensionen
- Für alle was dabei! Es richtet sich nicht nur an Profis, sondern ab ca. Boulderwelt Level 3-4
- Dich erwartet ein herzlicher Austausch mit den Wide Boyz und Du wirst viele neue (internationale) Leute kennenzulernen

Tom Randall
Tom ist ein begeisterter Trad- und Risskletterer und hat viele erste Begehungen auf der ganzen Welt geschafft. 2011 schloss er sich mit Pete zusammen, um den weltweit schwersten Offwidth-Riss, Century Crack in der USA, zu bezwingen, was im Film „WIDE BOYZ“ dokumentiert ist und ihnen damals ihren Durchbruch auch in der Medienwelt verschaffte.
Klettern begann Tom bereits in der Schuhe bei einem inoffiziellen Boulderwettbewerb und klettert seitdem ununterbrochen. Tom ist aber nicht nur vom Klettern am echten Fels fasziniert, sondern projektiert auch liebend gerne Risse im urbanen Raum – das können Brücken oder andere Gebäude sein. Manchmal bringt ihn das Buildering auch in so manche Schwierigkeiten, wie man zuletzt in seinem Video in Berlin sehen kann. 😀
Pete Whittaker
Pete ist im englischen Peak District aufgewachsen und Klettern, insbesondere Riss- und Tradklettern, begleitet ihn schon sein Leben lang. Am Klettern fasziniert ihn die Herausforderung und das Projekt – egal wo das Projekt auf der Welt ist. Für ihn lässt sich Klettern in drei einfachen Worten zusammenfassen: Eine gute Herausforderung. Jede Klettertour bietet einen einzigartigen Test – von Stärke, Strategie und Geist.
Petes Liste an schweren Riss- und Tradrouten ist lang, darunter war auch der Century Crack (5.14b), die schwerste Riss-Kletterroute Amerikas. 2016 kletterte Pete die Route Freerider rope-solo innerhalb von einem Tag. Er war damit die erste Person, die El Capitan in unter 24 Stunden solo-freigeklettert hat.

What can you expect?

Friday 9.5.
- Own arrival

Saturday 10.5.
- Opportunity for a joint breakfast: English Breakfast, baby
- Main event: Crack Fest (2 rounds with a limited number of participants + final) and special challenges with prizes including a whole barrel of beer and a cash prize of €100.
➡️ 9 AM – 1 PM: Crack Fest Round 1 (25 boulders) OUR RECOMMENDATION: less people!
➡️ 2 PM – 6 PM: Crack Fest Round 2 (25 boulders)
➡️ 7 PM: Final and raffle (spectators pay regular admission unless they have a weekend or day pass)

Tom Randall
Tom is an enthusiastic trad and crack climber and has achieved many first ascents around the world. In 2011, he teamed up with Pete to conquer the world’s hardest offwidth crack, Century Crack in the USA, which is documented in the film “WIDE BOYZ” and helped them gain recognition in the media.
Tom started climbing at a young age during an unofficial bouldering competition and has been climbing continuously ever since. However, Tom is not only fascinated by climbing on real rock; he also loves projecting cracks in urban spaces—these can be bridges or other buildings. Sometimes, buildering gets him into tricky situations, as can be seen in his recent video from Berlin. 😀
Pete Whittaker
Pete grew up in the English Peak District, and climbing, especially crack and trad climbing, has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He is fascinated by the challenge and the project of climbing— o matter where in the world the project is. For him, climbing can be summed up in three simple words: A good challenge. Every climbing route offers a unique test of strength, strategy, and spirit.
Pete’s list of difficult crack and trad routes is long, including the Century Crack (5.14b), the hardest crack climbing route in America. In 2016, Pete climbed the Freerider route rope-solo in a single day, becoming the first person to free solo El Capitan in under 24 hours.
