Tom Randall
Tom is a passionate trad and crack climber with numerous first ascents around the world. In 2011, he teamed up with Pete to tackle Century Crack in the US—the world’s hardest offwidth—an ascent documented in the film WIDE BOYZ, which brought them major attention in the climbing scene and beyond.
Tom started climbing as a kid during an unofficial bouldering contest and hasn’t stopped since. He’s not only drawn to real rock but also loves projecting cracks in urban environments—bridges, buildings, anything he can jam himself into. His buildering adventures occasionally get him into trouble, as seen in his recent video from Berlin. 😄
Pete Whittaker
Pete grew up in England’s Peak District, with climbing—especially crack and trad climbing—being a lifelong companion. What fascinates him most is the challenge and the project itself, no matter where in the world it takes him. For him, climbing can be summed up in three simple words: a good challenge. Every route is a unique test of strength, strategy, and mind.
Pete’s list of hard crack and trad climbs is long, including Century Crack (5.14b), the hardest crack climb in the US. In 2016, he rope-soloed Freerider in a single day, becoming the first person ever to free-climb El Capitan solo in under 24 hours.
