Wow- what an amazing premiere of Germany´s first WIDE BOYZ Crack Fest Festival held at Boulderwelt Dortmund!

We are excited to share the highlights of last weekend! The Crack Fest Festival was a fantastic celebration of crack climbing, bringing together so many international climbers of all skill levels for a day full of challenge, fun, and community spirit.

The weekend featured a variety of specially designed crack routes, fun challenges ranging from beginner-friendly to expert-level, tons of workshops and coachings allowing everyone to test their skills and learn new techniques. All of you showed impressive determination and creativity as you tackled the different problems, and the atmosphere was filled with encouragement and friendly competition. We are completely flashed by the atmosphere – no matter the time of day!

It started of with a fun film night and Q&A with Pete Whittaker and Tom Randall with beers, the main event crack fest on saturday and topped of with beginner workshops and coachings on sunday with specials guests such as world cup winner Jernej Kruder, which were well received by both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts.

A special highlight were all the Crack Challenges, where you competed against the Wide Boyz winning Beer and Cash prizes!

We want to extend a big thank you to all participants, volunteers, and spectators who made this event so memorable. Your enthusiasm and passion truly embodied the spirit of crack climbing, supporting each other and having fun climbing!

A special shout-out and thank you goes out to Pete and Tom for such an amazing day, to Jernej Kruder and Filip Justinek, our amazing crew and all of our partners: Wild Country, Citywall, La Sportiva, Cliff Bar and Erdinger Brauhaus.
